Laskarpur High School (H.S.) was founded on 5 January 1969 to illuminate rural Murshidabad with the light of comprehensive education. Over the past five decades, our institution has grown from a humble community initiative into a recognized Higher Secondary center providing Classes V through XII.
Under the academic stewardship of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), we offer both Arts and Science streams, state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-stocked library, digital ICT learning, and transformative state welfare schemes like Kanyashree and Sabooj Sathi.

On 5th January 1969, the visionary philanthropists Late Khudiram Mondal and Late Ashutosh Mondal laid the foundation of Laskarpur High School by donating their ancestral land and uniting the agrarian community of Lalgola South.
From a modest rural classroom with thatch roofing to a state-recognized Higher Secondary institution equipped with 39 classrooms, digital learning, and science laboratories, their noble sacrifice continues to shape thousands of aspiring scholars.
